Rules for Submitting Evidence
To maintain quality, credibility, and respect within the community, all members must follow these guidelines when submitting photos, videos, audio, or written accounts of suspected paranormal activity.
1. Submit Only Your Own Evidence
- You may only upload content you personally recorded or have explicit permission to share.
- If permission is granted, credit the original source clearly.
2. Provide a Clear Description
Every submission must include:
- Date and time of the event
- Location (general area; no exact address required)
- Context of what was happening before/during the incident
- What you believe the evidence shows
3. No Edited or Altered Content
- Do not submit photos or videos that have been edited, filtered, or enhanced in any way (brightness adjustments are acceptable but must be noted).
- Any attempt to fake or stage paranormal activity will result in removal of the content.
4. Share Raw Files Whenever Possible
- Original, uncompressed files (photos, videos, audio) greatly help in analysis.
- If uploading raw files isn’t possible, please state which device and app were used.
5. Maintain Respect and Professionalism
- No mocking, harassment, or insulting others’ submissions or beliefs.
- Provide constructive analysis only.
6. Protect Privacy
- Do not include faces of people without permission.
- Do not include sensitive personal information, addresses, or private property identifiers.
7. Keep Claims Objective
- Avoid exaggeration or definitive declarations (“This is 100% a ghost”).
- State what you observed and allow the community to analyze evidence objectively.
8. Provide Environmental Details
Including background conditions improves authenticity:
- Weather (rain, fog, wind)
- Lighting conditions
- Any known natural or technological sources in the area (electronics, mirrors, insects, reflections, etc.)
9. No Hoaxes, Roleplay, or Fiction
- This area is for genuine paranormal evidence only.
- Fictional stories or creative writing are not allowed and will be disregarded.
10. Community Review is Encouraged
- Submissions may be analyzed, questioned, or debunked by members.
- Healthy skepticism is welcome—disrespect is not.
11. Moderator Authority
- Moderators may request additional info, remove unclear content, or reject submissions that appear misleading or manipulated.
12. By Submitting, You Agree to These Rules
- Submitting evidence means you accept the guidelines and allow the community to review and discuss your material and give us permission to use on our website. Please let us know if you would like your name posted with your evidence on the website. Submit your information to [email protected]
